agency General Description At Masterworks, our Business Analysts are data-driven strategists responsible for analyzing relevant data regarding customers, markets, and campaigns and identifying business opportunities from them.
The ideal candidate is growth-minded with a love of telling an inspiring and truthful narrative with data.
They use analysis, data science--along with a foundation of statistical methods--to interpret findings, architect long-term solutions with a diverse team of experts, and ultimately bring those ideas to clients and outside stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities Manage and perform multiple analytics projects for one or more agency clients as assigned by the department head Present data findings and strategic recommendations to clients, building long-term relationships and a partnership based on trust Work and partner directly with cross-functional agency teams to support client marketing solutions on assigned clients Support insight-gathering and optimization efforts across the agency, through a collaborative, consultative, and educational approach that meets clients' needs and drives results Recommend strategies and formulate hypotheses for the use of all types of data including KPIs, behavioral attributes, demographics, and attitudinal factors across applications (e.
g.
segmentation, targeting, positioning, forecasting, reporting, etc.
) Design, develop and analyze reports on campaign and donor performance for clients Research trends using data mining and statistical analysis Work with the team to design experiments to answer specific business questions Use analytical decision models and predictive analytics methods to recommend campaign decisions Partner with data engineers to develop and operate data solutions Explore and implement new techniques for handling and interpreting data using available technology and programming tools Position Requirements Analytical thinker with the ability to discover hidden insights or complex patterns through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and persuasively provide recommendations to diverse audiences Experience executing analytic tasks (including data mining, predictive modeling, segmentation, experiment design, forecasting, etc.
) and creating meaningful outputs Developing a client-specific understanding of the value of donor/customer-centricity and its relevance to optimizing experiences within marketing solutions Familiarity with basic analytical methodologies and techniques (sampling, population bias, statistical testing, etc.
) and their mathematical underpinnings Understanding of relational database design and reporting systems Experience creating reports and dashboards with BI tools and platforms and web analytics platforms like Google Analytics Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools for building reports, developing presentations, and preparing written documents to be provided to clients Technical Competencies Experience building compelling data visualizations with Tableau, Looker, and/or Excel Work Experience Nonprofit experience a plus Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree or higher in Data Science, Business Analytics or related Marketing field Business experience preferred Data, analysis, and statistics background, skills, and tools knowledge At Masterworks, our Business Analysts are data-driven strategists responsible for analyzing relevant data regarding customers, markets, and campaigns and identifying business opportunities from them.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
