A growing technology company is seeking someone with 3 years of recent phone customer support experience and great computer skills to provide assistance and tech support to its customers!
To be considered for this job, youMUSThave:
3
years of recent phone support customer service experience
Knowledge of internet software (modern web browsers, email clients, etc.) and order processing systems
Strong computer skills & the ability to learn new systems quickly and thoroughly
Proficiency with Windows XP operating systems & later
High school diploma or equivalentYou'll be responsible for:
Responding to customer inquiries & requests for technical assistance regarding antivirus software and system operation problems
Diagnosing, analyzing & repairing common software problems on Windows computers
Recommending or performing minor remedial actions to correct problems
Responding to customer queries via telephone, online chat & email
Creating new member accounts using company-provided programs & tools
Answering customer inquiries regarding software, accounts & billing
Locating relevant member account information in the company customer service interface & Help Desk systems and updating records with details of the assistance provided
Assisting members in navigating Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8 as it relates to use of company software
Notifying supervisor of customer concerns and software bugs as needed
Seeking assistance from senior Tech Support staff as needed
Other tasks as assigned
Required:
